We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Hospitality & Catering to join our team within our award-winning Training Restaurant.

This is an exciting role for a hospitality professional who is passionate about sharing their industry knowledge and developing the skills of future chefs, restaurateurs, and catering professionals. Initially offered on a temporary basis, there is a strong opportunity for the position to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Lecturer in Hospitality & Catering, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Levels 1 to 3 Hospitality and Catering programmes. You will be responsible for providing engaging practical and theoretical lessons, helping learners develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to succeed in the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering practical kitchen and restaurant sessions within our training facilities
• Teaching food preparation, cookery, service, and hospitality operations
• Delivering theory-based units, including food safety and health & safety legislation
• Supporting and assessing learners to achieve their qualifications
• Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
• Maintaining industry standards and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and education, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.

You will ideally have:

• Relevant industry experience within Hospitality and Catering
• A recognised catering or hospitality qualification
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Experience delivering Hospitality & Catering qualifications at Levels 1-3 (desirable)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and health & safety legislation
• A commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learner outcomes
